Guy Sebastian has been making some very valuable friends during his trip to the US. The Idol winner got to hang out with singer Sheryl Crow and musician Steve Cropper.
He's been running with the cool crowd in Sydney for years, now Guy Sebastian is walking in Memphis with some of the biggest names in American music.
The one-time Idol had a night out on the town at the weekend, enjoying dinner with Sheryl Crow and a jam session at legendary blues bar BB Kings.
We hear Sebastian took to the stage with influential guitarist Steve Cropper, from Booker T and the MGs.
Cropper, who was a band member in The Blues Brothers movie and wrote In the Midnight Hour and Sittin' on the Dock Of the Bay, is producing Sebastian's new album.
He is in the Tennessee town until the end of the month before heading to New York and London and back home mid-September.
